Cannella Essentia essential oil is produced in Sri Lanka and is obtained by distilling the bark. The choice to extract it from the bark is important because the oil extracted from the leaves is toxic, although it is significantly cheaper. The distillations are lengthy and temperature-controlled. The result is a very high-quality essential oil, conceived as a “cocktail finish,” that is, a hydroalcoholic solution primarily intended to flavor and enhance cocktails without altering them.
